Types of Banners

There are two types of advertising banners offered on HillsDirectory.com.au. They include Home Page / Feature Banner Ads and  Keyword / Category Banner Ads. They are both the same size (220 pixels wide by 160 pixels for height) but they are different in the way they are displayed, see below:-

Home Page / Feature Banner Ad

The Home Page / Feature Banner Ad is a random banner displayed on the home page and throughout the website, wherever banners are found except for search results pages that have Keyword / Category Banner Ads available. If there are no or not enough Keyword / Category Banner Ads available, then the Home Page / Feature Banner Ads will feature randomly.

Keyword / Category Banner Ad

The Keyword / Category Banner Ad is an ad based on the keywords and categories as searched or browsed in the directory. Much like Google, when a user types in a keyword in the search or selects a category that is associated with a particular banner then that banner will appear on the right hand side along with the main listing results on the left. There is no limit to the amount of banner ads and they appear randomly within the 3 spaces available.
