Kellyville is the third largest suburb in the Baulkham Hills Shire.

Kellyville makes up more than 11% of the total population with a population of 19,690 persons according to the 2006 ABS Census. Kellyville is a major growth area in The Hills and has grown by 7,533 people since the 2001 Census. Further development in the area following the release of new land is expected to contribute to an increase in population for The Hills by 40,000 in the next 15-20 years. (BHSC, 1999)

Through its combination of housing Kellyville offers a variety of lifestyles. From peaceful semi rural to a more close knit suburban presence. Kellyville also offers a variety of schools -religious, public and private as well as a number of churches of all denominations.

Shopping in Kellyville is provided mainly by Kellyville Plaza with Coles Supermarket and 22 retails stores and Woolworths right next door which were both opened in 2003. The placement of these shopping centres has given Kellyville a district centre. Other shopping needs are met by the various shops located on Windsor Road, Kellyville. Alternative shopping is provided by Castle Towers Shopping Centre, one of Sydney's largest shopping centres located only 5 minutes drive away in Castle Hill.

The construction of the Bernie Mullane Sports Centre has also contributed to the appeal of the area.

Kellyville is located close to the M2 motorway allowing residents to travel to Sydney within 40minutes (on a good day). Public Transport to and from the suburb is provided by Westbus.
