Kings Langley is located approximately 28km North West of Sydney and lies between the suburbs of Baulkham Hills, Seven Hills and Glenwood, approximately 30 minutes on the M2 from Sydney CBD. A development control plan was issued by Blacktown Council in 1971 and the Hooker Rex Company developed the Kings Langley estate, which consisted of 278.8 hectares (689 acres). Kings Langley was one of the first suburbs to have all services, such as power and phone lines, placed underground to preserve a park-like environment.
