About Seven Hills 2147

Seven Hills is based at the start of the M2 Motorway, which on a good day allows commuters to travel to Sydney CBD within 30 minutes. Seven Hills is serviced by a number of buses providing transport to surrounding suburbs such as Blacktown, Quakers Hill and Castle Hill. Seven Hills is also on the railway line allowing access to Sydney CBD, Blacktown, Penrith and Parramatta.

The M4 Motorway is also within easy reach allowing access to Penrith and The Blue Mountains.

Seven Hills town centre consists of The Seven Hills Shopping Centre (a neighbourhood shopping providing residents with their day to day shopping needs), a number of street shops, a train and bus station, parking station and a Hotel.

Seven Hills also incorporates a large Industrial Area consisting of bulky goods, a waste management centre, and a variety of light and heavy industrial.

Despite being under Blacktown City Council jurisdiction Seven Hills is considered to be within 'The Hills', due to its name and location but also because it is consistent with the characteristics of The Hills District. Seven Hills offers a variety of parks and reserves throughout the suburb. Most streets are lined with trees and the hills are definitely noticeable.

Seven Hills is also serviced by a variety of schools - religious, private and public and within easy access are Blacktown or Nirimba TAFE Colleges and the University of Western Sydney Hawkesbury. (Please see categories for more information on the education provided).
