As an older well-established suburb within The Hills, Thornleigh has a fairly consistent population of around 6,500 people.

The attraction to Thornleigh comes from Thornleigh being on the train line, which allows resident's access to Sydney CBD, Hornsby, Pennant Hills and The Central Coast.
